The Estella was built and fully completed in District 2 in 2012 to be direct competition for The Vista and Imperia An Phu both also located in the District 2 area. However, Keppel Land was already prepared to break ground and start development of Estella Heights in 2015. The future of The entire Estella complex will include a retail shopping center as well, making it a bustling modern multifunctional complex.
Both The Estella and Estella Heights are built on approximately 4.8 ha pieces of land in District 2. However, The Estella has about 100 more apartments for sale and rent within 6 apartment blocks in comparison to Estella Heights with only 4 apartment blocks. Similarly, Estella Heights was designed to be a modern “green apartment complex” and has been designed to accommodate 71% of green landscaping, ensuring that there remains a peaceful and clean atmosphere for apartment residents. That is not to say that The Estella does not include landscaping, but where The Estella has two main water feature and one small garden, Estella Heights condominium will include a minimum of three water features along with three ground floor gardens and two sky gardens. While the Estella creates an open space concept, Estella Heights grasps the garden resort concept which fits the respective luxury condos perfectly.
Both The Estella and Estella Heights condominiums have integrated a range of entertainment, health and relaxation facilities for the convenience of residents. Both have also designed their facilities to have a resort atmosphere. While, The Estella has an impressive collection of facilities for a luxury apartment complex including: a 700m2 pool, two tennis courts, children’s playground, a billiards lounge, a movie and karaoke room, sauna and jacuzzi facilities, a gym and yoga room; Estella Heights outmatches its predecessor with facilities including: two tennis courts, a 400m jogging track, a 50m infinity lap pool, a 50m resort relaxation pool, garden seating areas, indoor gym and outdoor fitness area, sky lounge with billiard table and bar, children and lazy pools, a putting green and badminton court, even a movie room, function room and private lounge. All in all, both apartment complexes contain wonderful facilities but with Estella Heights there are just so much more to enjoy.

Despite being designed and constructed by the same developers the unit layouts of each apartment complex is quite different. The most obvious difference is that Estella Heights has a more proportionate layout. The Estella has a rather large living room in comparison to its small room size, but a big plus is the large balcony with perfect views of the pool or greenery. Estella Heights on the other hand has a well-rounded layout though the balcony is not as large as The Estella’s. Furthermore, Estella Heights has one bedroom and duplex apartments as well as the regular two and three bedrooms. The Estella though, only has apartments with two bedrooms above with a two penthouse suites on top of each block. However, both apartment complexes features excellently designed and high quality modern furniture, built-in wardrobes and bathrooms that come with each apartment. Similarly the total area of the apartments at The Estella and Estella Heights all range from 100 - 260m2.

The price of apartments for rent at The Estella and Estella Heights is at the high-end luxury range, with Estella Height about a few hundred dollars higher per month. It is fair in comparison with the facilities and quality apartments for rent on offer.
From the comparison, it looks like Estella Heights might be a better choice with its wider range of amenities and choice for layout, however The Estella has more free space and a larger living room for those who need their leg room.
